Any new product can have a mild scent upon unboxing. Should your Casper Mattress have a scent, it will dissipate in a well-ventilated room in a few hours. Though our water-based adhesive is more expensive, it eliminates unnecessary chemicals in your bed, which was an important factor in our design process.
